Hartford HealthCare at Home Hospice offers bereavement groups

Free bereavement support groups meet in five locations including Meriden.

Hartford HealthCare at Home Hospice Care is offering two free monthly bereavement support groups at five locations in July, including Meriden:

Meriden – Second and fourth Tuesdays of the month (July 10 & 24), 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., MidState Medical Center, 435 Lewis Ave., with Doreen Bottone, MidState chaplain.

Glastonbury – First and third Wednesdays of the month (July 18 only in July ), 2 to 3:30 p.m., Riverfront Community Center, 300 Welles St., with facilitator Bill Pilkington, supervisor for pastoral and bereavement services.

Hartford – Second and fourth Mondays of the month (July 9 & 23), 1 to 2:15 p.m., Hartford Hospital, 85 Jefferson St., Room 116, with facilitator Andrea Burr, pastoral counselor.

Mansfield – First and third Thursdays of the month (July 5 & 19), 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Mansfield Center, 34 Ledgebrook Drive, with facilitator Ivan Bilyk, pastoral counselor supervisor.

Norwich – Second and fourth Wednesdays of the month (July 11 & 25), 2 to 3:30 p.m., William W. Backus Hospital, 326 Washington St., with Thomas Flynn, pastoral counselor.
