Hartford HealthCare at Home to offer flu clinic on Oct. 26

SOUTHINGTON - Hartford HealthCare at Home is offering a flu clinic on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, Bradley Memorial Campus, 81 Meriden Ave. People who are 4 years old and older are eligible. Children ages 4 to 8 must have received the vaccine in the previous year.

Flu shots will be administered by nurses from Hartford HealthCare at Home. Insurances accepted include Anthem/BCBS, Aetna, ConnectiCare, Cigna, Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans for Anthem, Aetna and ConnectiCare. A health insurance card and driver’s license must be shown before the vaccine can be administered. Self-pay: Flucelvax $42; Flublock $75. Both vaccinations are egg-free and preservative-free.
