Hartford HealthCare at Home welcomes public to ‘Meet & Greet’ caregivers

SOUTHBURY – In June, Hartford HealthCare at Home celebrated the opening of its new office covering the Tribury area, including Heritage Village. Now the public will have the opportunity to meet the caregivers who actually provide many of the assistive services needed by older adults to successfully age at home.

This “Meet & Greet” is set for Tuesday, Aug. 8, 10 a.m. to noon, at Hartford HealthCare at Home, located at Heritage Village Commercial, 519 Heritage Road, Suite 2-A5, second floor. Coffee and bagels will be served and a free gift will be presented to the first 200 visitors.

The event will give the public the opportunity to learn more about Hartford HealthCare at Home and its resources including: certified nursing and rehabilitation; live-in care; homemakers/companions; hospice; personal emergency response systems; and personal care aides. Additional offerings are the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Program, and Behavioral Health Program. Specially trained staff provides skilled and compassionate care while working closely with the in-home client and family for the best outcome.
