Hartford HealthCare offers healthy info at Aug 9 farmers market
Health information will include cancer awareness, home care services, and more. 3-6p on Southington Town Green.
SOUTHINGTON - Visitors to the 2019 Farmers Market held Fridays on the Southington Town Green will be able to pick up not only locally grown produce but valuable information for a healthier lifestyle, courtesy of Hartford HealthCare Senior Services.
On Aug. 9, from 3 to 6 p.m., Hartford HealthCare Cancer Center will present on general cancer awareness, screening tests and healthy habits. Hartford HealthCare at Home transitional care coordinators will provide information about home care services. The Orchards at Southington will offer insights into independent and assisted living.
