Hartford HealthCare offers healthy info at farmers market
Friday, Sept. 13, 3-6p, Southington Town Green - pick up info from Hartford HealthCare professionals, get blood pressure screening
SOUTHINGTON - Visitors to the 2019 Farmers Market held Fridays on the Southington Town Green have been picking up not only locally grown produce but valuable information for a healthier lifestyle, courtesy of Hartford HealthCare Senior Services.
On Sept. 13, from 3 to 6 p.m., visitors will be able to chat with Hartford HealthCare professionals and receive a free blood pressure screening courtesy of Mulberry Gardens of Southington. Hartford HealthCare Cancer Center will offer information on breast cancer and colon cancer awareness for men and women. Transitional care coordinators from Hartford HealthCare at Home will provide info on services and resources.
