PLAINVILLE – Wounds, which can be prevalent in diabetics, can lead to serious complications and compounded medical problems. Nicholas Verdura, MD, of Hartford HealthCare Medical Group, will lead the free program, “Wound Healing 101,” on Thursday, Jan. 23, 10 a.m., at Plainville Senior Center, 200 East St. Verdura specializes in wound healing and hyperbaric medicine. Hartford HealthCare Senior Services sponsors the program.
