Healthy Back Program may strengthen and heal ailing backs

Learn how physical therapy may help alleviate pain, build strength and stability, and prevent back injuries. Free program April 18.

BERLIN - Millions of people suffer from back pain - it is the leading cause of disability in the United States. However, physical therapy may help alleviate pain, build strength and stability, and prevent back injuries. A free program about this topic will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2 p.m., at Berlin Senior Center, 33 Colonial Drive. Speakers will be David Brown, PT, and Faraaz Bhura, PT, Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network, who will present on the Healthy Back Program - a best practice model for healing, protecting and strengthening the back. Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network is sponsoring.
