Healthy Family FunFest to fill Aqua Turf this Sunday, Feb. 26

SOUTHINGTON – Organizers of this Sunday’s Healthy Family FunFest said more than 100 vendors will fill the Aqua Turf Club on Feb. 26, from 10:30 to 3:30 p.m. Southington’s most popular event focused on health and wellness will offer extensive resources and interactive activities centered on achieving a better quality of life. Thousands of visitors have attended in the past to access vital healthcare information all in one place.

Health professionals, medical experts and community members will provide a wealth of information that can benefit individuals of all ages. Offerings include free health screenings, demonstrations, educational materials, green initiatives and special activities focused on:

• Women’s Health
• Sports Medicine
• Kids of All Ages
• Mindful Eating

The premiere sponsor is the Bradley H. Barnes & Leila U. Barnes Memorial Trust at Main Street Community Foundation and the event is presented by Hartford HealthCare and the Southington Community YMCA.
