HHC Rehab Network therapists achieve Mulligan certification

Mulligan therapy, rehab, physical therapy, Hartford HealthCare, Rehabilitation Network

Four physical therapists with Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network recently were certified as MulliganTM Practitioners. The MulliganTM approach, developed in New Zealand, is a type of manual therapy used to treat patients with musculoskeletal pain.

Sarah Bozzuto and Jenny Reeve (Wallingford location), Kelly Kempesta (Norwichtown) and Dan Fisher (Southington) were certified following extensive classroom training and lab sessions, and successful completion of the certification exam.

Patients who can benefit from the MulliganTM approach include those who have loss of motion due to arthritis, acute pain from injury, post-surgical conditions, headaches due to neck problems, and much more. Mulligan practitioners work to improve patient’s movement using pain-free hands-on techniques. Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network has many therapists who are MulliganTM Certified Practitioners.
