HHC Senior Services showcases healthy living at Farmers Market
Center for Healthy Aging resource coordinators and Hartford HealthCare at Home veterans liaisons will be at June 14 market, 3-6pm
Visitors to the 2019 Farmers Market held Fridays on the Southington Town Green will be able to pick up not only locally grown produce but valuable information for a healthier lifestyle, courtesy of Hartford HealthCare Senior Services.
On the second Friday of each month (June 14 to Sept. 13), from 3 to 6 p.m., people will be able to chat with Hartford HealthCare professionals and receive information representing a variety of interests. On June 14, Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging personnel will be on hand to provide information about free assessments, resources and area services for older adults, families and caregivers. In addition, veterans liaisons from Hartford HealthCare at Home will provide information on veterans services and resources.
