Hotel Parking Lot Theft Leads to Charges in Southington

The woman was arrested last week for the incident, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A woman has been arrested for rummaging through a car at a Southington hotel, police said.

The incident was on July 27 and Nerissa Watson-Brown, 42, of Bristol, was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny, police said,

She is accused of entering an unlocked vehicle on the property of the Comfort Suites, 64 Knotter Drive, and taking $100 from the vehicle, police said.

She was released on a $5,000 non surety-bond and scheduled appear in Bristol Superior Court on August 7, 2017
