House of Heroes Descends On Southington Vet's Home For Repairs
A veteran from Southington's home was repaired over the weekend, courtesy of House of Heroes Connecticut.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The home of a former Marine from Southington was repaired over the weekend, courtesy of House of Heroes Connecticut.
The October Lane home belonged to 50-year-old Frank Russo, who suffers from chronic heart failure and has limited ability to make them himself. Russo served three year in the Marines from 1991 through 94.
The Plantsville project was sponsored by PCX Aerosystems of Newington.

House of Heroes Connecticut provides no-cost home repairs to military and public safety veterans and/or their surviving spouses who are disabled, living on a fixed income, or facing other physical/financial challenges. With the two projects, House of Heroes Connecticut will have served 152 veterans since its 2012 founding.
