Housing Project Endorsed By Southington Officials

The Southington Planning and Zoning Commission has approved a housing development in the downtown area.

SOUTHINGTON — The Southington Planning and Zoning Commission has approved a housing development designated for the downtown area.

The complex is to be located along a corridor near Liberty Street, Eden Avenue, Columbus Avenue and Bristol Street, records show.

Plans for developer Hunter Build LLC now call for 22 units rather than 3o after an adjustment was made by the PZC. Nine of the dewllings will be classified as low-cost, records show.
