Improving function and quality of life with comprehensive pain treatment

A free program about comprehensive pain management is set for Thursday, Oct. 20, 10-11 a.m., Plainville Senior Center. RSVP 860.747.5728.

PLAINVILLE – A free program focusing on improving function and quality of life with comprehensive pain management is set for Thursday, Oct. 20, 10 to 11 a.m. The presentation will be led by Karen Larsen, board certified pain management nurse and nurse coordinator/liaison to the Hartford Hospital Pain Treatment Center. Topics include: pain and treatment options by diagnosis; the opioid crisis and alternative therapies; and a multi-modal approach to treat pain and improve function. This event will be held at Plainville Senior Center, 200 East St.
