Incorporating meditation into daily life may bring benefits

CHESHIRE – Meditation, the practice of mental mindfulness and relaxation, can bring benefits to mind, body and spirit. A free program about Focused Awareness Meditation will be held Monday, June 3, 10:30 a.m., at Cheshire Senior Center, 240 Maple Ave. Presenter will be Christina Solimini-Swift, exercise physiologist, GoodLife Fitness at The Orchards at Southington, program sponsor. Participants are asked to bring a large towel or small blanket with them for proper positioning in their chair.
