Festivities begin Friday, Sept. 30, from 5 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 1, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 2, from noon to 7 p.m.

There is also a massive amount of entertainment, with musical performers slated all event long, as well as the festival's three signature events.

Those are this weekend, with a laser light show planned for 8:40 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30; fireworks at 9 p.m. Saturday night, Oct. 1; and the annual festival parade on Sunday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m.

The 2022 parade's grand marshal is Ed Dresel, who has been involved with the festival first as its coordinator in 1992, then continued on as the parade announcer through 2019.

With shuttle buses taking guests to the festival from outlying areas, the streets nearer to the festival are off limits to parking.
