July 4 Fireworks 2022 Near Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years.

• What: Talcott Mountain Music Festival Celebrate America! in Simsbury.
Where: Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center, 22 Iron Horse Blvd.
When: 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)
A performance of patriotic songs will be followed by a fireworks display.

Where: Dunkin Donuts Park in Hartford after game against Binghamton Rumble Ponies.
When: Friday, July 1, game starts at 7 p.m. Fireworks after the game.

July 2

What: Hartford Yard Goats fireworks show.
Where: Dunkin Donuts Park in Hartford after game against Binghamton Rumble Ponies.
When: Saturday, July 2, game starts at 6 p.m. Fireworks after the game.

What: "Great American Boom" celebration.

When: Monday, July 4, 7 p.m.
Food trucks, a DJ and an Independence Day fireworks show are expected to dazzle the crowd. $10 Parking passes through New Britain Parks and Recreation Department required for entry.
