Keeping Memory Strong on Feb. 10 provides stimulating challenges

Center for Healthy Aging presents tips and challenges to keep brain sharp. Mon., Feb. 10, 1p, Newington Senior Center. RSVP 860.665.8778.

NEWINGTON – As people age, it is a natural process to become more forgetful. However, sometimes forgetfulness may indicate a more serious issue such as dementia. “Keeping Memory Strong” on Monday, Feb. 10 will provide tips to keep the brain sharp and activities to challenge the mind all while having fun. The free program will be held at 1 p.m., at Newington Senior & Disabled Center, 120 Cedar St. Presenter will be Michelle Wyman, LSW, CDP, dementia specialist, of Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging, program sponsor.
