Knowing how to manage stress may improve quality of life

Does life have you overwhelmed? Feeling anxious and stressed? Learn strategies at free program on June 13.

BRISTOL – There’s no doubt that stress can be overwhelming and negatively impact every facet of life. Education and understanding various approaches to managing stress can lead to a better quality of living. A free program about managing stress will be held Wednesday, June 13, 10:30 a.m., at Bristol Senior Center, 240 Stafford Ave. Topics will include the causes and symptoms of stress, techniques to decrease stress and anxiety, and best ways to develop healthy coping strategies. Presenter will be Laurel Reagan, APRN, director of Behavioral Health, Hartford Hospital. This program is sponsored by Hartford HealthCare Healthy Minds at Home.
