Labor Day: What's Open, What's Closed In Southington
Southington officials have announced all of the Labor Day impacts on town/school operations.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local officials recently unveiled a list of holiday weekend impacts on town operations due to the Labor Day Holiday.
Town officials said the Southington Town Hall and Municipal Center will be closed on Monday, Sept. 4, for Labor Day, which is seen as the unofficial last day of summer.
Those offices will reopen for normal, operating hours on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

In addition, the Southington Public Library will be closed on the holiday on Monday, reopening for regularly scheduling the next day.
After opening this week, the Southington School System will also be closed on Labor Day Sept. 4, with normal classes resuming on Tuesday.

The Calendar House, home to the Southington Senior Center, is also closed on Monday, with normal hours back on Tuesday.
