Lady Knight Netters Sit Atop First Girls Volleyball Poll
A huge victory over RHAM propelled Southington into the top spot in the season's initial coaches poll.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A gigantic victory Monday over two-time defending Class L champion RHAM propelled Southington High School into the top spot in the season's first girls volleyball coaches poll.
The Lady Knights received 10 first-place votes to lead the balloting. Seven other schools were named first on voters' ballots: RHAM (6), Woodstock Academy (5), Cheshire (2), and Farmington, Ridgefield, Seymour and Westhill (1 apiece).
Here are the top 10, plus all other schools receiving votes.
