Larger Southington Thrift Store Reopens In New Location In Town
The retailer reopened on Thursday at 328 Queen St. in Southington.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Shoppers in Southington have a new destination for secondhand finds as Goodwill of Southern New England has opened its new retail store on Queen Street.
The new location officially opened Thursday at 328 Queen St., remaining in the same shopping plaza but moving into a larger, newly constructed building.
In announcing the opening, Goodwill said employees had been working to stock the expanded sales floor with donated merchandise ahead of opening day.

The organization described the new location as a "brand-new, bigger, and brighter store" and encouraged shoppers to visit for opening-day deals and thrift finds.
Goodwill of Southern New England operates retail stores throughout Connecticut and uses proceeds from donated goods to support job training, employment services, and other community programs.
