Learn Connecticut's Trail System At Southington Library Event
Just in time for the fall hiking season, the Southington Library Thursday is hosting an expert who will discuss CT's trail networks.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — With autumn fast approaching, a Southington Public Library program this week will help folks prepare to enjoy what the season can offer those who love the outdoors.
The library, located at 255 Main St. is hosting a fall trail hiking event on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 5:30 p.m. in the site's café.
That's when Mat Jobin of Reach Your Summit, will give guests a history of our state's trail system (established by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association in 1929.)
