NEWINGTON – Preparation can enable individuals to benefit more from their appointment with a physician by knowing what to ask. A free program about this topic will be held Friday, Sept. 23, 1 p.m., at Newington Senior Center, 120 Cedar St. Hartford HealthCare Senior Services is sponsoring the event.

Heather Hitchcock, community outreach manager, Hartford HealthCare Senior Services, will discuss topics including: how to partner with your doctor; how to prepare for an appointment; important things to bring to your doctor’s appointment; questions to ask; and more.
