Learn how to make the most of your MD appointment

WALLINGFORD and NEWINGTON – Preparation can enable individuals to benefit more from their appointment with a physician by knowing what to ask. A free program about this topic will be held Monday, Dec. 5, 1 to 2 p.m., Wallingford Senior Center, 238 Washington St. A second program will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7, 10 to 11 a.m., at Newington Senior Center, 120 Cedar St. Hartford HealthCare Senior Services is sponsoring these events.

Heather Hitchcock, community outreach manager, Hartford HealthCare Senior Services, will discuss topics including: how to partner with your doctor; how to prepare for an appointment; important things to bring to your doctor’s appointment; questions to ask; and more.
