BRISTOL – With many towns now offering farmers’ markets, it is easier than ever to purchase and cook with locally grown produce. Is it really nutritionally better? Learn more about seasonal cooking at a free program Wednesday, Aug. 15, 10:30 a.m., at Bristol Senior Center, 240 Stafford Ave. Presenter will be Peter Fescoe, director of dining services, Mulberry Gardens of Southington, program sponsor.
