Learn about the Risk Factors, Prevention and Early Detection of Breast Cancer

NEW BRITAIN – A free Dinner with the Doc on Thursday, Oct. 5, 5 p.m., will focus on the risk factors for developing breast cancer, early detection and strategies for prevention. The event will be held at Arbor Rose at Jerome Home, 975 Corbin Ave.

An in-depth discussion will include risk factors for particular groups of women: those who are over 60; are very young; have a family history; and African Americans. Presenter will be Dr. Rajani Nadkarni, Medical Oncology and Hematology , HHC Cancer Institute at MidState Medical Center. Arbor Rose at Jerome Home is sponsoring this program. A light complimentary dinner will be served.
