UPDATE: Lego Bandit Identified In Southington: Police
Police are seeking an arrest warrant for the suspect, who is believed to have stolem $800 worth of Legos at the Southington Target.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local police are seeking an arrest warrant for a man believed to be behind a shoplifting incident at a local Target store earlier this month where Legos were stolen.
Recently, the Southington Police Department said it has identified the man seen in a video surveillance image.
Police released that image to the public last week in an attempt to track down the yet-to-be-identified individual.

Now, the SPD said, it is seeking an arrest warrant to, eventually, charge the person seen in the images.
"The Southington Police Department would once again like to thank the valuable members of our community for their routine participation in these types of investigations," wrote the SPD recently.

Police said the incident happened on Feb. 3 at the Southington Target, which is located at 600 Executive Blvd.
Police said the suspect is believed to have stolen four large sets of Lego toys valued at about $800 total.
