Living with arthritis program provides overview and options

A free program on how to improve your quality of life if you have arthritis, will be held Oct. 4, 11 a.m. to noon, at Wolcott Senior Center.

WOLCOTT – Arthritis is a painful condition that often limits individuals’ daily activities. A free program on this topic will be held Tuesday, Oct. 4, 11 a.m. to noon, at Wolcott Senior Center, 211 Nichols Road. Information will include the types and symptoms of arthritis, medications and supplements, diet and nutrition, exercise for arthritis and an overview of the HHC Bone & Joint Institute. David Santoro, MBA, OTR/L, director of operations, HHC Bone & Joint Institute at Hartford Hospital, will facilitate the program.
