Local Man Charged With Illegal Oxy Possession After Home Depot Crash
He had loose pills on him, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT - A local man is facing charges for illegally possessing a powerful painkiller after a crash at the Southington Home Depot.
John Biehn, 40, of Southington, is due on court on May 23 to answer charges that he was driving under the influence and failed to keep narcotics in their original container, police said.
On May 11 at 9:53 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Home Depot at 89 Interstate Park Drive for a complaint about an accident.

Investigators determined that Biehn was attempting to back his vehicle out of a parking space and while backing, his vehicle struck another that was parked and unoccupied in the parking lot.
Officers administered standardized field sobriety tests, which he failed, according to a news release.

Officers found several loose pills in Biehn’s pocket.
The pills were later determined to be Oxycodone, police said.
