Local Regulatory Issues Stall Solar Panel Construction at Southington Business

A public hearing was continued this week.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Snags in the local regulatory process have stalled the installation of solar panels at a Southington business, the Record-Journal reported.

Limitless Energy LLC was to construct solar panels at 178 Newell St. on a parcel adjacent to the Quinnipiac River, town records show.

But a continued public hearing at Tuesday’s Zoning Board of Appeals meeting was continued and construction had to stop until the proper approvals are in place, according to the story.
