Local Woman Wins Big Playing Lotto Game In Southington

The Plantsville resident won the maximum payout for the game, which was purchased Monday at a Southington supermarket.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The holidays haven't even arrived yet, but one Plantsville woman is likely having one of her better holiday seasons.

That's because, according to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., she walked into a local supermarket, purchased a lottery game ticket, and walked out about $100,000 richer.

She won that amount Monday playing the Pinball Wizard scratch-off game, which costs $10 to play.
