Lunch & Learn: Managing holiday stress for people with dementia and caregivers

SOUTHINGTON – For families living with dementia, the holidays can be challenging. With some planning and adjusted expectations, the celebration can still be a happy and memorable occasion. A free program on this topic will be held Thursday, Dec. 15, noon-1 p.m., at Hospital of Central Connecticut, Bradley Memorial campus, 81 Meriden Ave. A light complimentary lunch will be served.

Patty O’Brian, dementia specialist with Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging, will present the program. Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging is sponsoring the program.
