Lunch & Learn program examines the benefits of assisted living

NEW BRITAIN - Assisted living has changed greatly over the years and offers many options to older adults in various stages of aging. Questions about the benefits of assisted living communities will be answered during the free program, Assisted Living: Not Your Grandma’s Old Age Home. The event will be held Thursday, Sept. 14, noon to 1 p.m., The Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain Campus, 100 Grand St. Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging is sponsoring the program.
