NEW BRITAIN – With technology changing nearly every day, life sometimes seems more complex than easier. The free Lunch and Learn program, “Technology in Your Home,” will provide information about how to make a home a “smart” home; how to control the home environment using a range of low to high-tech solutions; and smart devices. This event will be held Thursday, May 9, noon to 1 p.m., at Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, 183 N. Mountain Road, in conference rooms A & B. Presenter will be Kristopher Thompsons, a certified aging-in-place specialist. Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging is sponsoring.
