Lunch & Learn: Urinary incontinence in women a common issue

NEWINGTON – Because of embarrassment, often women may not want to discuss urinary incontinence – the accidental release or urine. However, it is actually a common problem for millions of women. The free Lunch & Learn program, Urinary Incontinence in Women, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 13, noon, at Jefferson House, 1 John H. Stewart Drive. Discussion will include causes and available treatment options. This program will be led by Shanna Gannon, PA-C, urologic surgery, Hartford HealthCare. Jefferson House is sponsoring the event.
