Major Road Project's Traffic Restrictions Begin Next Week In Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Southington Police Department is advising motorists of upcoming traffic restrictions tied to a road construction project on Berlin Street.
Work is scheduled to begin Monday, March 30, and continue through the first week of June.
During that period, through traffic will be restricted on Berlin Street between Belleview Avenue and Pleasant Street.

Police said access within the work zone will be limited to specific cases, including neighborhood residents, large trucks or delivery vehicles, and motorists traveling to businesses in the area.
The Dairy Mart store will remain open during construction, according to the department.
