Make Mom Smile At Southington FD Mother's Day Flower Sale

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Folks looking to get their mother that special flower bouquet for Mother's Day Sunday can do just that, courtesy of the local fire department.

The Southington Fire Department's Plantsville Engine Co. #2 is hosting its annual Mother's Day Flower Sale Friday through Sunday, May 10-12.

It will take place at the company's headquarters on 128 W. Main St., in the Plantsville section of Southington.

Buying flowers from the sale will not only keep you out of mom's doghouse, but it will help the fire department as well.

The sales times are 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 10; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 11; and 8 a.m. to noon on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12.
