Make-A-Wish® CT Hires Bristol Resident as Program Director

In her new role, Lisa Brown is excited to grant wishes to every eligible child in the state and ensure that all children receive their one true wish. She works closely with the wish managers and coordinators to update, maintain and increase the quality and integrity of each wish.

Prior to joining Make-A-Wish, Brown served as a Vice President and Branch Manager in the Retail Banking industry, with the role of expanding and deepening customer relations, making sound financial decisions for the bank and customers and ensuring operational excellence in accordance with state and federal regulations.

While Brown has more than 25 years of management and leadership experience in Banking and Retail, she comes to Make-A-Wish with a valuable and rich perspective, for she is also a proud Make-A-Wish mom. Her daughter Zoe’s wish was granted in 2016 to meet Dove Cameron, a Disney Channel actress. Brown is quoted as saying that the trip “was a turning point for Zoe in her treatment. It was a family trip that made a huge impact on our family unit, as well our healing process.” Zoe’s wish was Brown’s first interaction with Make-A-Wish, and she was duly impressed. Her daughter Zoe has participated in several Wish events since her wish was granted and loves all opportunities to help support Make-A-Wish Connecticut.

According to Brown, “The day is always yours to choose, choose happy, choose positive and definitely always choose what makes you smile. I am beyond thrilled to grant wishes and make an impact on a child's life and bring a family together.”

Brown originally hails from Montana and stays busy at home in Bristol with her two kids, husband, two dogs, two cats and 10 chickens.
