Man Arrested in Southington Stolen Fitbits Case
An arrest has been made in a case of stolen Fitbits from a Southington store.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — An arrest has been made in a case of stolen Fitbits from a Southington store.
On May 17, Carlos Gonzalez, 26, of Waterbury was arrested on an outstanding warrant and
charged with fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny, police said.

The warrant stemmed from a shoplifting incident inside the Southington Target Store in March, police said.
Gonzalez is accused of removing six Fitbits from their packaging and handin g them off to an accomplice, police said.

Gonzalez and the accomplice were later identified through another area police
department, according to a report.
Gonzalez was posted a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Bristol Court on June 4.
