Man Caught Trying to Peddle Drugs in Downtown Southington: Cops

A man was caught trying to sell drugs in Southington, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A local man has been arrested for allegedly trying to peddle drugs in a busy area of town.

On Sunday, Ryan Delbuono, 33, of Southington, was charged with two counts of the sale of a

controlled substance, possession of narcotics, the sale of a narcotic, possession of less than a half-ounce of
cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

The arrest was the result of officers receiving information that Delbuono was attempting to sell drugs in the downtown area, police said.

Officers stopped Delbuono and found him with marijuana, narcotic pills, and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Delbuono was processed and he posted a $5,000 surety bond, police said.

He is scheduled to appear in Bristol Superior Court on Aug. 28, police said.
