Man Charged With Sexual Assault in Southington
A man was picked up on a sexual assault warrant out of Southington.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A 20-year-old has been arrested in town for an alleged sexual assault involving a minor, police said.
On Wednesday, Chauncey Ford, 20, of New Britain was arrested on an outstanding warrant held by
the Southington Police Department.

The warrant charges Ford with sexual assault in the fourth degree, risk of injury to a minor, and providing a false statement, police said. The investigation began in July when Ford allegedly had sexual contact with a minor, police said.
Ford was held on a $150,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Bristol Court on Thursday, police said.
