Man Cited After Southington Dog Attack
One dog ran out of an apartment at another that was being walked, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A local man has been cited after a dog attack last week, Southington police said Monday.
The incident was on Dec. 14 and Chad Accarpio, 26, of Southington, was issued an
infraction, police said.

At 4:46 p.m. that day, Southington Animal Control received a complaint of a dog bite that occurred at the Summerbrook Apartments on Darling Street, police said.
An investigation showed that Accarpio’s dog ran out of a broken door in an apartment building and allegedly attacked another dog that was being walked by its owner, police said.

The dog that was attacked was treated at a local animal hospital for injuries it suffered during the incident and is recovering, police said.
