Man Drives From Southington Bar Disturbance Along Sidewalk: Cops
A Southington man was charged after two disturbances at local bars, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A Southington man nearly took out two people on a sidewalk while driving away from a disturbance at a local bar, police said. He was then apprehended after an altercation at a second local watering hole, police said.
At 7:14 p.m. Thursday, Southington police were dispatched to Sliders Bar at 1219 South Main St. Police were told that a man, later identified as 32-year-old Stephen Rosado of Southington, was yelling inside the bar.
Rosado had left the scene beforee officers arrived, but an investigation determined that as Rosado left Sliders, he drove along the sidewalk and nearly hit two pedestrians, a report indicates. He also struck some bushes on the Sliders property as he left the area, according to a report.

Police then received a call from Sam the Clam’s at 1303 Meriden Waterbury Road about a man
matching the description of Rosado causing a disturbance there, according to a report.
Police found Rosado at Sam the Clam's approaching his vehicle and he seemed to be intoxicated, according to a report. The car was not registered, police added.

Rosado was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, evading responsibility, reckless driving, third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, failure to drive in the proper lane, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
He was held overnight on a $25,000 bond and was to appear in New Britain Superior Court on Monday, police said.
