Man Injured by Falling Branch in Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A man was injured when a tree branch fell on his head while he was working outside Thursday afternoon, police said.

The incident took place at about 4 p.m. on Elizabeth Drive, police said.

Police said two men were working on a tree when a branch fell. One of them was was transported to an area hospital with at least a cut on the head, according to police.
