Man Who Exposed Himself At Walmart ID'd: Southington PD

Southington police said Wednesday an arrest warrant is being sought against the man believed to have exposed himself to women at Walmart.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local police Tuesday night said they have positively identified the suspect believed to have exposed himself to women at Walmart earlier this month.

And, the Southington Police Department said, an arrest warrant has been submitted to New Britain Superior Court before the man being taken into custody.

Police, however, have yet to identify the suspect, but they thanks members of the community in helping to identify the individual.

"The Southington Police Department would like to thank the valuable members of our community for their routine participation in these types of investigations," wrote the SPD.

According to the Southington Police Department, at about 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, a male — believed to be in his 20s — was observed "exposing himself to two females inside of Walmart."

Southington's Walmart is located at 235 Queen St.

Police had released images of the man they believe to be "a person of interest" in the case and they said were looking to speak with him.
