Marian Heights offers free memory screenings to mark National Memory Screening Day

NEW BRITAIN - As part of National Memory Screening Day, an annual initiative of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA), Mulberry Gardens at Marian Heights is offering free memory screenings on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Marian Heights Adult Day Center is located at 314 Osgood Ave.

Qualified healthcare professionals will administer the memory screenings and provide educational materials about memory concerns, brain health and caregiving. The confidential one-on-one screenings consist of a series of questions and tasks, and take 10 to 15 minutes to administer.
