Massive Lotto Win Puts Southington Resident In Exclusive Club
The winning scratch-off ticket was purchased last week at a local gas station.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A resident of the Plantsville section of town joined a very exclusive club last week as the individual scratched out a life-changing financial windfall.
According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., the Plantsville resident became a millionaire, winning a whopping $2 million playing the $2 million Mega Multiplier scratch-off game.
The winning ticket was purchased Friday, May 29, at the Citgo gas station located at 960 Meriden Waterbury Tpke.
The game costs $20 to play, with the maximum prize being a $2 million annuity.
