Meet The Candidates At Southington Chamber Event
A forum Thursday will feature Democrats and Republicans seeking state offices to represent Southington.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — With elections just about three weeks away, the Southington Chamber of Commerce this week is hosting a special "meet the candidates" event on Thursday, Oct. 17.
The program will take place at 6 p.m. at the Hawks Landing Country Club, 201 Pattonwood Drive, Southington.
There, state House and Senate hopefuls from both the Democratic and Republican sides of the political aisle are expected to meet with constituents and answer any questions on the issues of the day.

People are invited to register for the free event, with the Chamber also asking the community to submit questions that can be asked to the candidates.
The forum will be moderated by Mike Soltys, who is the retired vice president of communications at ESPN.
