Meet A Cop Over Cocoa In Southington
The Southington Police Department Saturday is hosting a 'Cocoa with a Cop' event at a local eatery.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — "Coffee with a Cop" events are a common way for law enforcers to get to know the folks they serve — and vice versa.
But the Southington Police Department Saturday is switching it up a bit at a local eatery for a similar event.
Members of Southington's Finest are hosting a "Cocoa with a Cop" program at Mission BBQ, 785 Queen St., Southington, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13.

Guests are invited to enjoy a warm cup of homemade hot cocoa and the chance to get to know the Southington PD.
"Ask questions, tell us about your neighborhood, or share your concerns," wrote the SPD in an announcement. "The conversation is informal and informative."
